Mick has never fully recovered from his divorce from Cheryl Anne. For the past 10 years, he’s been adrift, disconnected from any sense of happiness and—worse—his three teenage sons, who barely acknowledge him as their dad. While his ex-wife and kids thrive, Mick’s stuck managing a bus depot in Sheffield, surrounded by colleagues who show him little respect. Life’s monotony is slowly crushing him, until, pushed to the brink, Mick makes a drastic decision: he converts one of his buses into an ice cream truck. What starts as a desperate attempt to find purpose sets Mick on a life-changing journey. From battling local ice cream turf wars to dealing with his own self-doubt, Mick is forced to reckon with the demons he’s been avoiding for years. Along the way, he’ll have to rebuild his bond with his sons, rediscover his own self-worth, and, for once, stand up for himself. Filled with laughter, heart, and some questionable ice cream jingles, Ice Dreams is a tale of redemption, family, and one man’s journey to find the sweetness in life again. This is an All-Made-Up story like you've never heard before!
