Tune in here to this Wednesday edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen!
Breaking Brett Jensen is joined by York County Sheriff Kevin Tolson and retired Gaston County Sheriff Alan Cloninger to talk about the tragic shooting in Charlotte last week that left four officers dead and four more wounded. The sheriffs also discuss their personal experiences with loosing officers while in charge, breaking down what the following 24 hours and beyond are like.
Later in the show Brett and the sheriffs discuss how the border crisis is impacting York County and Gaston County. Sheriff Tolson points to the rise in fentanyl and gangs as a huge problem that leads to even more crime. Fentanyl is unlike other illicit drugs because it is "much more powerful and much more deadly," Sheriff Tolson said. This isn't a political issue, "it's a life and death issue," Sheriff Cloninger said.
