Tune in here to this Wednesday edition of Breaking With Brett Jensen!
Breaking Brett Jensen shares an interview with the President of the Fraternal Order of Police's Charlotte chapter, Daniel Redford, where they discuss the aftermath of Monday's shooting in Charlotte that left four law enforcement officers dead and four more wounded. Redford said the first and foremost concern is checking in with the families of the fallen and wounded soldiers as well as the rest of the officers in Charlotte who have been affected by the events of the week.
Redford raises the issue of felons being released and having their cases dropped by today's justice system, the criminal has a long rap sheet that includes two separate charges of a felon in possession. One of the most important lessons we must take from Monday's shooting is that we must enforce law and order. We can't give hardened criminals a slap on the wrist and release them into society to victimize more people.
