The more we know, the better chance we have of selling the car, and selling the car for the correct amount of money. How is the price determined?  Stewart suggests you always make sure the VIN on the car matches the title! Sometimes the title is incorrect because someone transcribed it wrong.Stewart goes over the difference between a VIN number and a serial number and where to find them on a car. On modern cars, the VIN is usually in the dash and can be seen looking through the windshield. The Ferrari 296 is also a topic for discussion and had a higher resale value than expected. Vintage car sales seem slow at this time and may not be real strong in the near future. A couple Mercedes-Benz Hammers recently sold by Gooding at Amelia for more than $600,000, but it was also well below the estimate going into the auction. Broad Arrow sold a 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider Competizione for $9,465,000 at Amelia. Keith Martin, Publisher of Sports Car Market Magazine talks to Stewart about meeting fellow enthusiasts at Cars and Coffee events and gaining knowledge from them.
