In May of 2003, Ejaz Ahmad was shot, stabbed, and decapitated by his wife Leah Ward. His body was discovered in a shed behind his house in Memphis, Tennessee. Leah admitted to murdering Ejaz, but said it was in self-defense. Her trial was in 2005, and the jury did not believe her story.
