The drug and alcohol thing comes down to this; drugs are wonderful, they are wonderful when you try them first, they are not around for all of these millennia for no reason. But as you increase and keep on using whatever it is the pleasure part decreases and the pain part increases, until the balance is completely the other way, its almost all pain and there is hardly and pleasure.
