Luke St. Amand is the co-founder and CTO of Lectec, an EdTech company aiming to inspire young minds through hands-on STEM learning experiences. Luke and his co-founder, Jared, were inspired to build Lectec after Jared’s nephew was intrigued by the mechanics of a newly gifted electric skateboard, leading them to develop build-it-yourself kits designed for students. Lectec recently aired on Shark Tank in February 2024, helping Luke and Jared gain significant exposure, including reaching over 3.2 million viewers from their episode alone.
Before Lectec, Luke worked as an engineer at Amazon, and he graduated from Long Island University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics and Finance.
