First, The plaintiff is a music artist who was hired to perform at the defendant’s party. She says she learned when she got there that it was a “swingers” party, and everyone was naked except for a COVID-19 mask. She says she was not paid for her performance, so she’s suing for breach of contract and emotional distress. The defendant argues the plaintiff walked off the stage after only two songs. Then, The plaintiff and her husband say the defendant was married to his son, but they’re separated. The defendant was arrested for assault and they loaned her money, but she hasn’t paid it back, so they’re suing. The defendant says the plaintiffs are good people, but their son was verbally abusive and he rarely sees his kids. Plus, The plaintiff says after her brother died, she found out he had a son in foster care. The defendant reached out to her claiming he is the man’s son, so she petitioned the court for a DNA test. The defendant says he was raised in foster care and group homes, but he believes he is the plaintiff’s nephew.
