Episode 13 - March Microgrid Madness
March 27, 2024 · 23 min

It’s the 13th episode of Plugged In, the Guidehouse Insights Podcast where we go deep into emerging sustainability topics and how they might be all around you!

This might be our unlucky 13th episode, but we are blessed to be joined by Grace Zucker. Grace is a Consultant on the Guidehouse Insights team, where she works on carbon capture, corporate sustainability, hydrogen electrolyzers, and pretty much everything else we’ve ever covered on this podcast. She has a BA in Economics and Environmental Science from Barnard College, and has done some insanely cool work in her time there.

We dive into that work in the episode, and then discuss microgrids. We look at what they are, why they are used, and where they are being deployed. We talk about how they are an important tool of resiliency, but also an emerging tool for so much more. Grace and Jake also get into a discussion about the beauty of invention and environmental work that is currently happening, and you will not believe what discovery sparks that conversation.

Thank you to Guidehouse for providing us this platform for discussion. To keep up to date on other Guidehouse Insights work, follow our Industry Insights blog on the website: guidehouseinsights.com.
