I mean, who decided that naming an episode about space sperm, "Elogium," was sexy? I know this show can feel pretty sterile at times, but this is getting ridiculous. Star Trek wears lots of different faces over the course of its history: The Original Series, Deep Space Nine, Lower Decks. Some of the faces are stunningly beautiful, while others are not so pretty, but it can be hard to look at both ugliness and beauty. It certainly feels like the franchise is in a state of flux at this point in our watch list, at least in terms of overall quality. Oh no, it's a math episode. And not just any kind of math, mind you, but ethical math, the messiest kind. I don't know how to tell you all this, but our podcast has been infected by a virus... a pernicious strain of Star Trek called Voyager. It's potentially treatable, but we may now be prone to bouts of intense boredom and creative frustration.
