In this episode I talk to my friend and teammate at Spectrum racing, Ravi Ranjan Kumar. Ravi is also the founder of Ride a Cycle Foundation and one of the founders of our beloved multiday cycling tour, Tour of Nilgiris. He was one of the earliest riders in the Bangalore cycling community and it was great to go down the memory lane to talk about early days of Bangalore cycling, the genesis and initial years of Bangalore bicycling championships, our team Spectrum racing and Tour of Nilgiris among other things. Ravi has moved to Europe on work in 2016 and he also shares how his cycling and running changed ever since and what he enjoys doing now a days. This episode was my way of catching up with an old friend while capturing some of the early years of cycling and running in Bangalore. I had great fun. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.

Who is a working athlete? Someone working fulltime/part-time, entrepreneur or anyone who has to work to make ends meet and doesn't let being busy to stop him/her from pursuing an active lifestyle is a working athlete. I consider stay at home moms/dads who pursue a sport, as working athletes because homemaking is a full-time job.
