• We have eight Centex 11-man teams who are undefeated: Midway, University, Connally, Groesbeck, Troy, Hamilton, Axtell and Bosqueville. Survivor draft time: Who would you take to be 10-0 at the end of the regular season?  • On the flip side, Crawford is in a very unusual 0-3 position, and the Pirates face Axtell this week, meaning 0-4 is a real possibility. Crawford has had 10 double-digit winning seasons since 2010 and are one of the area's most consistent programs. What's going on here? • Our first edition of StatsPlus came out this week. Does anybody among the Centex statistical leaders jump off the page at you? Who would you like to see play? • We had two new stadiums debut last week in Central Texas at Abbott and Live Oak. What do you think makes for a good Texas high school football stadium/venue? Do you have a favorite place to cover a game? ----- Music: https://purple-planet.com/ Hosted on Acast. The Dawgs head into a bye week after winning a catfight in Lexington. I'd create a silly description, but after the chaos of this game, I used what little energy I had on the title. That said, listen to hear our breakdown of our breakdowns during the Kentucky game, and note our (few) positive takeaways as well.

Man, what an epic beat down of the Cowgirls in their own house! There were so many good things to talk about in this one, we won't even attempt to put it in this description. We get into everything that stood out in the best possible way in this one - which was a TON. But...it wouldn't be the 28 to 3 Podcast if we didn't bring up at least SOME things that cause disagreement and debate between the co-hosts. Such as, with all this newfound offensive success, ARE there things that still concern us with the offense moving forward? We debate that. Also, is AK back to being "old AK"? or do we still need something more from the RB position? Either way, this was a road win for the ages considering all the uncertainty this preseason. It's still Week 2, but great starts are monumental. Let's keep it going! WHO DAT?!
