In this episode, professor Maharaj interviews actor, film director, and entrepreneur, Eric Whitten. Eric Whitten is a New York trained, award-winning filmmaker and actor with almost 20 years of professional experience. As a filmmaker, Eric has produced over a dozen projects over the last few years. His short films have won awards and attended festivals across the country, including the Academy Award Qualifying LA Shorts, Chelsea Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, and many more. He was awarded a finishing grant for his short film, Chalk by FilmInk Magazine and is a member of FilmShop NYC, Performance Jam ATL, and The Collective at the Alliance Theatre.His feature film EAT was a semi-finalist at the StoryPro Awards and Atlanta Film Festival screenplay contests. He’s written and directed over 80 custom film scenes for actors and owns Hollywood South Self Tapes, an audition taping studio for actors in Atlanta, GA where he's been a coach for over 3 years.
