This will be an on-location episode from Pier 6 in San Leon, Texas.ABOUT GEORGE: George spent the first half of his life in pursuit of adventure. This ranged from bullfighting as a youth to milking poisonous snakes professionally at Ross Allen’s Reptile Institute in Silver Springs, Florida. The early 60s found him chasing wild animals across the Serengeti in the movie business and operating an animal export company in Iquitos, Peru. In 1980, he began a video production company in Houston, Texas and worked as a ’triple threat’ (writer/director/producer) creating some of the Houston market’s most creative television commercials. He won a CLEO award for his production of a series of television PSAs concerning prevention of child abuse, funded through a grant from the University of Houston.ABOUT BECKA: Becka L Jones has always been a writer at heart. When she was a child, her dream was to be a published author. It took decades to finally reach her goal, but in 2018 after publishing her first paperback book "Meant to Be," which is a memoir about Becka's life, she could not put down her pen. Becka has been writing stories ever since. Becka's hope is that readers will be lost in the stories as if the reader is inside the pages of the book. Born in Minnesota, Becka moved to Hawaii after high school. She lived there twenty years and loves to write books about the many adventures and love for the Hawaiian Islands. Becka plans to write many more books. He spent time in a foster home in Manchester before emigrating to Canada with his mother in 1972. He spent his teenage years living and attending school in Toronto, Ontario, where he also played professional soccer in the Canadian National Soccer League. In 1982, he emigrated to Australia to spend time with his father, Jimmy Brown, who moved there from Yorkshire in the mid-fifties.Paul was educated at Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia and became a teacher in 2002. He became a writer in 2015 after his originally self-published novel 'Skulduggery' was picked up by Shawline Publishing. Paul's novels are authentic and gritty, with twists and turns the reader won't see coming. He paints a realistic image of how peasants would have lived in the 16th and 17th centuries. However, that is only the backdrop to suspenseful and mysterious stories with romantic tones. His novel 'Red Winter Journey' has been nominated for the NSW Premier's Literary Awards (Christina Stead Prize for fiction). His new novel 'Dream of Courage' will be released in November.Paul has been a guest on the ABC, BBC, America Tonight with Kate Delaney and regularly features on the Witty Writers Show in the US. At the age of 21, he was sent on a mission into the Soviet Union to smuggle a dissident's manuscript on microfilm to London. His first trip was a success. On his second trip, he transferred a manuscript to the Dutch Ambassador inside his Moscow embassy. A week later, he was arrested in Khartiv in the Ukraine and interrogated for two days there and then two days in Moscow, before being expelled from the USSR. The KGB had picked him up for meeting dissidents and did not know about the manuscript transfers. He holds a BA in Middle East History from UC Berkeley and an MA in Philosophy of Education from UCLA. He is the author of five novels.
