With over a decade of experience, Rizwana brings strong leadership and communication skills, honed through her 30-year career as a nurse and midwife. Join us as we explore her journey, her commitment to community unity, and her insights into the pivotal role in governance and security.
Educated at Aranui High and Canterbury University Jenny completed a doctorate in theoretical elementary particle physics at Oxford University. She was a research physicist at Manchester University, travelling to the US for regular placements at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Centre in California. Back in NZ she helped lead our country’s involvement in the Large Hadron Collider project based in Geneva, Switzerland, before a change in tack saw her teaching sport science at UC and leading the Sport Coaching degree programme.
