Tom posed a question to our listeners about when you have been impulsive as a runner, whether is was signing up for a race or deciding not to start a race. We received so much feedback, so we share both our own experiences along with all of yours. Tom also walked the Annapolis Bay Bridge Run with his brother, so we get a quick recap from him. We have a lot of our usual nonsense to start the show, chat about what we're running for and as always, end with something good.

Join us in this a chock full, perfectly long episode for your long training run or fall half or marathon races (unless you're really fast during that half & then you'll have to keep listening on your way home!) ! Having not caught up in some time we start in full chaos before Tom reigns us in and we chat about Erin & Michaels time in Disneyland, catch up on a couple 5 star reviews, and figure out what we're all still running for. We have a ton of Autumn Goal Getters from the community. We take a deep dive into Michael's first 100 mile buckle at Hainesport 48 hr and finish off with Something Good. This week on ITRS we speak to Shelene, a stay-at-home mom and autism advocate. She discusses her favorite runs, running shoes, and online pastimes. Shelene shares her love for the sound of her daughter's happy noises and her dislike for the sound of people popping their knuckles. She also reveals that she would attempt a creative profession and would not want to be a school bus driver. Finally, she expresses her hope that everyone she leaves behind is taken care of when she arrives at the pearly gates.
