Need Wisdom? P2
Biblical wisdom is priceless—more valuable than gold. It spares us from needless pain, reveals God’s will, invites His blessing, and produces lasting fruit. Wisdom is seeing life from God’s perspective, and it’s something we especially need during trials. James 1:5–8 shows us how essential wisdom is, how to receive it, and how we sometimes miss it. Wisdom comes from God, and Jesus is the embodiment of that wisdom—so the more we pursue Him, the wiser we become. The good news? God wants to give us wisdom. But we must ask in faith, believing He will answer. Are we asking? Are we chasing more of Jesus? The wise person is listening—because they know how much they still need Him.
Attention, husbands! Today’s message takes a deep look at your God-given role in marriage according to Ephesians 5:25–32. What does it really mean to love your wife as Christ loves the Church—and how is that love lived out daily? Scripture offers powerful wisdom on sacrificial, Christ-centered love, and in this episode, we’ll unpack what that looks like in a marriage built on God’s solid foundation. When you follow His design, your marriage can flourish and be richly blessed.
Do you desire a solid, loving, and enduring marriage—one that is truly blessed by God? In this episode, Pastor Robbie unpacks Ephesians 5:22–24, exploring God’s counter-cultural design for marriage. What does a marriage built by the Lord look like? Through Scripture, we’ll take a closer look at the wife’s role in a biblical marriage, and what true, godly submission is—and is not. Discover how following God's design leads to a marriage that thrives under His blessing.

Today's message launches our new series, "Unless the LORD Builds the House," drawn from our key passage, Psalm 127:1. This verse reminds us that no matter how much effort we put in, our work is ultimately in vain without God's presence and guidance. True success and lasting security come only when our lives are built on Him. Whether you're building a house, establishing a home, or raising a family, all of it is meaningless without the Lord’s blessing and protection. But with the Lord, you will have good success: His word says so!

Luke 14 tells the story of Jesus speaking to the huge crowds that had jumped on the bandwagon and started following Him. But what He says to them, and to us, is not what we might expect. If we are truly saved, if we are to count ourselves among His disciples, we must be prepared to suffer, to say goodbye to our old lives, to make many sacrifices. Yes, following Jesus does come at a cost, but when we're faced with the cost of rejecting Him, the answer becomes crystal clear. It's a sobering message, but so important for the Christian life.

Heart check time! Take a moment and ask yourself—and really think about it—what is my purpose? Is my purpose driven by earthly longings? If it is, it's time to hear God's truth again today as we delve into Acts 26:12-29. As believers in Jesus Christ, we're so blessed to have and hold a purpose of infinite satisfaction, where the gospel is our centre and making disciples our main goal. God wants to use you!
