Welcome to this episode of the Creative Reboot podcast!
We couldn't resist going all playful this month. That's right, we tackled the topic of work vs play!
It turns out our neurodivergent brains have had us doing a lot of unlearning over the last couple of years and we're gamifying, playing and experimenting with the way we do business and harness our creativity these days.
Join us for a super joyful episode!

Welcome to this episode of the Creative Reboot podcast!
This month we're taking on the big juicy topic of fear and visibility as creatives and business owners and it was a topic that took us in all kinds of directions. Chaos ensued but we think there were some great points made (we hope you think so too!). Least of all the consideration of merch that includes words across our bottoms!
Grab a cuppa and settle in. This is going to be quite a ride!

Welcome to a new season of the Creative Reboot podcast!
It's season 8 and our 5th year of chatting about all things creative. We start this episode outlining what this season is going to look like before we dig into our special interest topic (hello neurospiciness!)... NOTEBOOKS!
Turns out we have a lot to say about this modest form of capturing thoughts and ideas and we can't wait to share it with you. Let us know if this is a nerd out topic for you too!

Surprise! It's a bonus episode!
That's right. We really hadn't planned to do a final round up of the year but Sarah kind of badgered Carla into it with a very specific reason in mind. The reason being, we both know how tough a year it's been for the both of us, and for many other small businesses and creatives out there. And we wanted to acknowledge that but also take a look at what GOOD stuff has happened to us both this year.
We think you'll find this episode pretty cheering and hopefully a little bit inspiring too. It might even motivate you to take a peek at your own 2024 and see what good happened for you, too!

We were so wowed by Lorraine (The Painless Piano Coach)'s story from the last episode that we knew we had to talk about our own creative mindset and how we overcame struggles we experienced for our creativity.
Like many of our chats, this one wasn't about answering specific questions but it delved into a thorough exploration of our own creative journeys and the things we overcame to continue them. Listen in for some excellent back and forth on this topic!

We're all for showcasing something a little different here at Creative Reboot. So when Lorraine Robinson (otherwise known as The Painless Piano Coach) approached us and told us a little of her story, we knew we needed her to come on and share it all with you, too.
Lorraine has been playing the piano since she was a child, and teaching it from a very young age, too. But the thing she loved most was also causing her incredible pain. Thinking she might have to give up doing the thing she loved, she found a teacher experienced in biometrics and now she teaches it to her students too. Lorraine's determination and resilience to keep being her most creative self shines through in this episode and we can't wait for you to hear it!

Inspired by last month's glorious episode with Stef Fournier, we decided to talk all about how our own personal brands have evolved over the years in this month's episode and it was quite the chat. Prepare yourself, we got all nerdy about branding in this one and we're not sorry!

There's purple and personal branding and soulmate clients and wiener dogs to behold in this gorgeous jewel of an episode. Oh my! Today we chat with the fabulous Stef Fournier, personal branding coach, strategist and brand photographer and Sarah's new friend (!) about all things branding and neurospiciness. It's, as ever, chaotic, fun and full of brain sparkles (do we ever not have those with our amazing guests?!).
Enjoy and definitely grab a notebook for this one. Stef shares so much awesome wisdom!

Inspired by the fabulous Lilian Sue's episode from last month, we jumped feet first into chatting about all things PR and visibility this month. What it is and what that might look like, how we do it for our own businesses, some of the common pitfalls but also what it does for us and we hit you with a whole bunch of resources you can check out at the end.
If getting visible is on your agenda over the next year or so, then you'll definitely want to listen to this episode for all the inspiration!

You'll notice a theme in this month's episode... the theme of us both gasping in realisation and delight at all the juicy goodness Lilian Sue shares with us about her experiences with PR!
That's the topic on the block and Lilian really brings her A-game as she shares how we can get super intentional with our PR for our businesses and brands as creatives through the medium of telling our stories. We talk about everything from imposter syndrome to fully embracing your origin story and just about everything in between. We both walked away with a stack of notes from this episode so we're sure you will too! Bring a notebook and pen!
