I was very honored to be asked to host this MAJ x BC Women's Health Foundation panel a few weeks ago. I sat down with Melanie Auld, Gillian Segal and Erin Sousa to discuss everything from motherhood to "balance" to taking care of ourselves. It's a bit of a different format since it was a live event but I hope you love it nonetheless! Some great nuggets here.--Follow Sophie: https://www.instagram.com/sophieccollinsSophie's Website: www.sophiecollins.comSubstack: https://whatimlovinglately.substack.comOne Wednesday: www.onewednesdayshop.com
I have been familiar with May Lindstrom's work for a long time but it was only recently that I was able to fully dive into her world through using her skincare line morning and night. As someone who pays great attention to what I put on my skin and what I put in my body, this conversation was illuminating in so many ways. May truly lives, breathes and embodies the work she is putting into the world through her company because it healed her own skin. She talks about growing up with back to the earth hippy parents, learning about herbs from a young age, how she dealt with a variety of skin issues as a child and young adult, and how this all led her to launch and grow her eponymous brand, May Lindstrom Skin.--Follow May: https://www.instagram.com/maylindstromskinLearn More: https://www.maylindstrom.com/Sophie's Current Skincare RoutineFollow Sophie: https://www.instagram.com/sophieccollinsSophie's Website: www.sophiecollins.comSubstack: https://whatimlovinglately.substack.comOne Wednesday: www.onewednesdayshop.com
I have been doing Jacqui's workouts for years through her original platform, The Pilates Class, and I am so excited to share her wisdom with you today around her newer baby, The Birthing Class, which she cofounded with Natasha Oakley. Jacqui was a professional dancer and turned her passion for pilates into a blossoming career. Over the last few years, she has launched The Pilates Class which has members in over 118 countries, had a baby (!) and created an entirely new platform, The Birthing Class, to fill a space in the market that is a one stop shop for teaching pregnant women the ins and outs of prepping for labour & delivery and how to take care of yourself emotionally, physically, and mentally. She is a light and I can't wait for you to experience her wisdom in this interview!--Follow Jacqui: https://www.instagram.com/jacquikingswellFollow The Birthing Class: https://www.instagram.com/thebirthingclassFollow The Pilates Class: https://www.instagram.com/thepilatesclassJoin The Birthing Class: https://thebirthingclass.coFollow Sophie: https://www.instagram.com/sophieccollinsSophie's Website: www.sophiecollins.comSubstack: https://whatimlovinglately.substack.comOne Wednesday: www.onewednesdayshop.com

When I reached out to my community and asked who in the motherhood space you wanted to hear from, the resounding answer was Neha Ruch from Mother Untitled. After 10 years working in Brand Strategy and receiving her MBA from Stanford, Neha decided to pause her career after the birth of her second child. She quickly encountered outdated stereotypes associated with being a stay-at-home mother—stereotypes that seemed more fitting to a bygone era than her own experience or the modern women she was meeting. She became determined to create the world's first collective of ambitious women on career pauses - or downshifts - to reshape the narrative around stay-at-home motherhood and give visibility to the gray area within which many women find themselves during a pause from traditional work outside the home.Today we talk about everything from finding clarity to pursue this path to what it looks like to unlock your full potential during a career pause. I urge you to pre-order her book, "THE POWER PAUSE: How to Plan a Career Break After Kids – and Come Back Stronger Than Ever." I myself cannot wait to read it.--Follow Neha: https://www.instagram.com/motheruntitled/Website: https://www.motheruntitled.com/Exercises to do: https://www.motheruntitled.com/toolkitBook: https://amzn.to/4d8aSoTWhat Neha is Obsesed With: All of Me Multi-Stick by IliaFollow Sophie: https://www.instagram.com/sophieccollins/Sophie's Website: www.sophiecollins.comSubstack: https://whatimlovinglately.substack.com/One Wednesday: www.onewednesdayshop.com
I have been a fan of Danielle for a long time. I read her blog long before she cofounded The Everygirl and have recently reconnected with her. Danielle and I talk about everything from how she got through the hardest time of her life when her daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, to what it looks like now having three kids, taking her daughter to see Taylor Swift in Paris and even her breast reconstruction to feel her best. She shares some juicy tips from managing her website and her approach to work while finally living her best life. Danielle and her family's journey of resilience and strength is so inspiring and I am so grateful to share this conversation with you all.--Follow Danielle: https://www.instagram.com/daniellemossRead her Substack: https://daniellemoss.substack.com/Danielle's Website: https://www.danielle-moss.com/Follow Sophie: https://www.instagram.com/sophieccollins/Sophie's Website: www.sophiecollins.comSubstack: https://whatimlovinglately.substack.com/One Wednesday: www.onewednesdayshop.com
Today's conversation with Jillian has been highly requested by all of you and I am very grateful to be sharing it. Jillian and I sit down and bare it all. Everything from whether it is possible for a young mom to give her all to her business (and whether it's worth it), slowing down and what that might look like for a true busybee, mental health and taking care of herself and ultimately what is next (she drops a big announcement here too!) Jillian was raw, candid, vulnerable, open and generous with her time and words and this conversation was one of my deepest episode's yet. I hope you come away with the same amount of love for Jilly as I have! She's the real deal.--Follow Jillian: https://www.instagram.com/jillian.harris/The Jilly Box: https://jillybox.com/Shop One Wednesday in The Jilly Box: https://jillybox.com/products/one-wednesday-waffle-knit-robeShop Sophie's North Kinder x Jilly Dress: https://jillybox.com/products/north-kinder-jilly-dressFollow Sophie: https://www.instagram.com/sophieccollins/Sophie's Website: www.sophiecollins.comNewsletter: https://whatimlovinglately.substack.com/One Wednesday: www.onewednesdayshop.comThis episode is brought to you by Ovry.
