Call me neurotic but I find it incredibly disrespectful to be late. In this week's episode, I talk through what being late actually signifies to the person who may be waiting for you and how I avoid being late myself. I'm also sharing the latest updates on our move to Utah- all while recording from a campsite in the middle of nowhere Georgia. If you're ready for some accountability and to take control of your life, be sure to check out all the ways you can work with me over on my website. Let’s Connect! I recently had the opportunity to be a guest on the Extraordinary Podcast hosted by Connie Durham. In this interview, I share a bit about my past and upbringing and how it shaped who I am today. You will hear how I overcame some pretty traumatic situations and how I chose a different path that has given me a joy-filled life and thriving marriage. My relationship is not "perfect." In fact, Adam and I are opposites in many ways and it took a lot of communication to get us to where we are today. If you are struggling in your marriage and constantly wondering if you chose the right partner to do life with, I highly encourage you to change this thought pattern. Instead of trying to change each other, work on ways you can better understand and appreciate these differences, and using them to strengthen the bond you share. This episode is right in line with what I talk about all the time on this podcast, my commitment to growth in both my professional and personal life. Give it a listen!Let’s Connect! I share tons of fitness tips and more behind the scenes on my social accounts.Website Instagram LinkedIn FacebookYouTube
I am the healthiest I have ever been in my life at 41 years old and I have the FASTerWay to Fat Loss program to thank for that.Back in my 20s and 30s, I was undereating and over exercising. If you have small kids, I'm sure you can relate. When you're so busy managing the house, running errands, and child-rearing, it's easy to put yourself last- especially if you don't have a plan. That's why the FASTerWay has been perfect for me. I don't have to think about what I'm going to eat that day or what workout to do- it's all built in to an easy to follow app on my phone. In this week's episode, I break down the 4 components of the program that has helped me feel my best and lose weight.A big part of the program is drinking enough water so I have my favorite water bottles linked below:Fruit Infuser Water BottleHalf Gallon Water Bottle with Time MarkersJoin the 5-Day Belly Blast program with me! I often hear from moms who chose to stay home with or homeschool their kids while they were younger say they feel insecure and “behind” when they decide to start their own business. The truth is, there is no “right” time to start and you have to do what feels right for you and your family. Being a caretaker is not something to regret, because your kids will never need you the way they need you when they are school age (or younger!) but entrepreneurship will always be there. This week, we hear from Lacey Harnar, a Certified CFO and owner of Pathway CPA Group. She also spent time in network marketing, homeschooling her 3 kids, investing in real estate, and speaking to the masses. In this episode, Lacey speaks with us about pivoting and how she uses numbers to help business owners get unstuck.Lacey has been assisting small-business owners and real estate investors with tax strategy & planning, tax return preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping, and business success for nearly 20 years. She tells us how she hired and grew her team so that she could step away from the day to day work of being a tax strategist for businesses and step into her higher calling of helping business owners with mindset and growth. If you’re interested in learning more about Lacey and her services check out her website and Facebook page. And if you want to download my list of mindset books that I mention in the episode fill out the form here. Let’s Connect! Stress. We all have it. I’ve been in a ragey funk since deciding to list our house on the market and move across the country.Even though it’s what I wanted to do and what I believe is best for my family, it has still brought on a lot of stress. But the thing about stress that most people don’t realize is that your body can’t tell the difference between the kind of stress that comes from a lion chasing you and the kind of stress caused by having to clean my house with 7 kids around.Obviously one is more dangerous than the other, right? But our body goes into fight or flight mode either way.One thing that can help is changing your perception about the stress you are experiencing.Want to learn how I changed my entire mood (and breast milk supply!) this week by changing how I am viewing the stress in my current situation?Tune in to the podcast to find out! These are the supplements I mention in the episode: - Moringa Powder- Body ArmorLet’s Connect! We have a lot on our plates as we prepare for our move out west. We're preparing our home to list on the market and it got me thinking about integrity. It seems not many people have it these days. There are a few minor issues with our house that I feel determined to fix before listing it for sale as a matter of integrity. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I sold a home with a leaky roof to an unsuspecting buyer.I didn't always have the most integrity. This week, I share a story from my teenage years involving theft, but that actually shows my true entrepreneurial spirit that I possessed even at a young age. Let’s Connect! Did you know I am a certified health and fitness coach through the FASTer Way to Fat Loss Program. I've been using this program myself for over 2 years and have seen tremendous results in my own health and now want to offer my services to you!I'm a crossfit burnout and didn't ever have a good nutrition strategy until I joined the FASTer Way. Eating intuitively wasn’t working for me- I was running off of cortisol and my natural high energy at the cost of adrenal fatigue and muscle wasting. I was undereating and over caffeinating, not sleeping enough and working out too hard. I  ended up inflamed and sensitive to foods I normally could have eaten without an issue not to mention I was 20 pounds heavier. So in today's episode, taken from a recent Live I did over in my Facebook Group- Rise and Thrive with Tiffany Wickes- I share everything you need to know about the FASTer Way program. You'll get a customized nutrition plan complete with macro-balanced recipes and allowing for some flexibility based on your own lifestyle and nutritional needs. You'll also get an exercise plan with variety so you don't get bored and rest days so you don't burn out! Interested? Send me a message on my website or Instagram! The next program starts March 25th!Learn more about the FASTer Way here.Let’s Connect!
